Airport / Hotel Pick Up and Drop Off Procedures
O'Hare (ORD) Airport
- Whether you checked any luggage or not on your trip, please proceed to the baggage claim level.
- Once you have your luggage, call our dispatch office at (773) 217-8563.
- Our customer service attendant will ask you for your full name, telephone number and confirmation number if available, please have this information ready when you place the call.
- The customer service attendant will advise what door to exit out of. To help you find your airport chauffeur transportation car, you will be given a description of the vehicle along with its license plate number. Please understand that O’Hare airport has regulations that require all livery vehicles to remain in holding lots until they have received a notice from their dispatcher. When the driver has received an order they will make their way to your gate, this could take additional 10-15 minutes depending on how busy the airport is and current weather conditions. If you are using our Shared Car Service, your vehicle may already be in a terminal, so your pick up could be immediate. For this instance, it is extremely important that you are completely ready to leave the airport upon the time you call and speak with the dispatcher.
Midway (MDW) Airport
- Whether you checked any luggage or not on your trip, please proceed to the baggage claim level.
- Once you have your luggage, call our dispatch office at (773) 217-8563 and proceed to Door One.
- Our customer service attendant will ask you for your full name, telephone number and confirmation number if available, please have this information ready when you place the call.
- The customer service attendant will advise what door to exit out of and for Midway Airport proceed to Door One. Private Car Chauffeur to the airport or any other point to point destination for our clients consists of professional and uninterrupted door-to-door service for travelers and local residents who prefer exemplary private car service, SUV, Van, and Limousine experience. Templar VIP Transportation will provide a range of late-model vehicles for your use. So if you are pressed for time and wish to be in the comfort of your own chauffeur-driven vehicle. The Private Car service option is your preference. Note certain types of private care reservations will require the trips to require Private Car service automatically. For example, the need for extra stops to the final destination of your choice, pets, oversized and multiply pieces of luggage, two or more golf bags, skis, and or bicycles.
Baggage Meet-and-Greet Service a Templar VIP Transportation chauffeur will be awaiting your arrival within the rules and regulation of the airport. The passenger upon their arrival in the baggage claim area will be informed that your chauffeur will be holding a display sign with the passenger’s last name written on it and our professional drivers will assist with the luggage, and escort the party to their car outside. This is a great option for out-of-town visitors, those from different countries, or passengers for whom time is of the essence. Baggage Meet-and-Greet is the quickest, most efficient manner in which to exit the airport. Additional charges apply.

Shared Ride Car Service
Share-a-Ride pairs you with other travelers sharing the cost of private car service. Upon arrival at O’Hare or Midway Airport, you must gather your baggage and call (773) 217-8563 for availability otherwise a private call will be available to assist with your transportation requirements. Once you check-in with customer service our staff will pair you with other people traveling in the same direction. Because car share service has limited seating capacity, especially in regards to our fleet sedans and etc., you will not encounter more than 2 stops on your travel to your hotel or next destination. The day prior to leaving your destination you will need to call Templar VIP Transportation for customer service at (773) 217-8563 speak to a Live Agent to book your return service. Due to Share-a-Ride availability, we may have a pickup prior to yours and we ask you to be patient up to 15 minutes past your scheduled transfer time otherwise you can order a private car.
Templar VIP Transportation can provide age-appropriate seating for your children, on request and at no charge – we offer free car seats.
Illinois Child Safety Laws
The State of Illinois requires that all drivers and passengers be secured in either a safety belt or child safety seat. This applies to all taxi and limousine companies, as well as car-sharing services like Uber and Lyft. Most importantly, the law requires mandatory child safety seating for all passengers under the age of 8 and/or under 40 lbs in weight.
According to Illinois law, children under age 2 must be properly secured in a rear-facing child restraint system unless they weigh more than 40 pounds or are more than 40 inches tall.
Templar VIP drivers will ensure that we have well-maintained, and appropriately installed safety restraints for each member of your family who require one according to State of Illinois Law Rules of the Road.
